Oh yes! In Queensland once (Yes I'm from Australia but I'm using the UK & Ireland one because I'm using the school laptops), I was on the train and there were theses pretty attractive girls around my age and I actually started to blush and everything. I made a laughing xD face to myself and they noticed and smiled to one another and they got closer and talked to me for a while. They DEFINITELY knew that something was going on. I mean, I was the only guy there besides some older bloke who was in his early 30's.
