A question for new yorkers?

recently you guys have been rated as the worst state in the union when it comes to drivers. I know a friend who was born and raised in New York. He recently moved down here to NC and when I told him about the newest survey he had to disagree, he said it had to do with the New England state citizens coming over into New York as well as Jersey folk. He told me it's the other two that have the personality issues and not true new yorkers....my question is...is it true that your state has the worst drivers in the United states, as well as the worst attitudes or is it as my friend says, it's the Jersey, New England citizens that give you a bad rap?
